Job Description

An Occupational Therapist is sought for a K-12 School setting in Kelso, WA, for the upcoming school year. This role involves providing essential therapeutic services to students across the PreK-12 spectrum, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive in their educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Familiarity with IEP Online or similar IEP systems

Location: Kelso, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 40-50 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess student needs and progress, adjusting therapy goals and techniques as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment for all students
