Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a significant impact within a K-12 educational setting in Colorado Springs, CO. This contract position for the full 2025-26 school year involves working across multiple schools, providing essential speech and language services to students.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in school settings
  • Familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and therapy models
  • Colorado SLP License and Teaching Certification
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an itinerant role

Location:

  • Colorado Springs, CO

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance students' communication skills
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports as required by the district
