Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in pediatric occupational therapy within an educational setting. This role involves working directly with students to support their developmental needs and enhance their learning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Active Rhode Island Occupational Therapy License
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educators and other specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Manage a caseload of 30 to 40 preschool students, providing tailored therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy services and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall educational development of students
