Job Description

An opportunity exists for qualified Occupational Therapists to support K-12 students in an engaging educational environment. This role is focused on addressing the diverse needs of students across two available positions, ensuring that each child receives the therapeutic guidance necessary for their development and learning.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist License in the state
  • Pupil Service Certificate with Occupational Therapist Endorsement
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of IEPs and related processes

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring occupational therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet varied district needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and advocate for student needs
