An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide essential services in an educational setting. This full-time position involves working 35 hours per week across multiple schools, primarily located in Alexandria, VA.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other health professionals.
• Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process.

Location: Alexandria, VA

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students.
• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
