A dynamic opportunity exists for skilled professionals to provide essential nursing support in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Seattle, WA, where the focus will be on delivering individualized care to students as a 1:1 LPN.

Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN License
• Experience working in school environments, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families
• Knowledge of pediatric health concerns and school health policies
• Effective organizational skills to manage varied needs of students

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing services to an individual student, ensuring their health and wellness during school hours
• Support students in the health room as needed, addressing minor medical issues and health concerns
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a healthy school environment
• Develop and implement health plans in coordination with parents and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records and documentation
• Adapt to the varying needs of students, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere
