Qualifications:

  • Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Experience in school health environments, particularly with middle school students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and parents
  • Commitment to student safety and health promotion
  • Previous experience managing diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day
  • Administer medications and monitor student health plans as required
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students physical and emotional well-being
  • Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records for all students
  • Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate care guidelines
