An opportunity exists for a dedicated Reading Specialist to provide targeted support to a middle school student in Elgin, IL. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and qualifications necessary to facilitate effective reading interventions for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized assessments to determine reading levels and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans aligned with the student's IEP goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid Reading Specialist Certification.
• Master's degree in K-12 Reading Specialist Prep Program.
• PEL Certification.
• Experience working with middle school students, particularly those with learning disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and families.
