Description:
Sunbelt is seeking a motivated and dedicated 6th Grade Science Teacher to join a vibrant school district in Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time, in-person position, where you will be responsible for teaching the 6th-grade science curriculum.

Qualifications:

Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification for Science (Grades K-8).

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans for 6th-grade science students.
Teach a variety of science topics, including but not limited to earth science, biology, and physical science.
Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide feedback on their academic performance.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
Collaborate with other educators and staff members to create an enriching learning environment.
Communicate regularly with students and parents to ensure student success.
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other school activities.
