Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher for a part-time position in Liberty, NY. This role involves creating a flexible and dynamic program that provides specialized instruction in Spanish to students in grades 7-12, including those with disabilities. 
 

Qualifications:

• NY Certification in Spanish 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a flexible Spanish curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners, including those with disabilities.
• Modify lessons using various instructional techniques and technologies to accommodate individual student needs.
• Teach socially acceptable behavior as defined by students' IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive and respectful learning environment for all students.
• Meet with parents to discuss students' progress, set educational priorities, and address any individualized educational needs.
• Collaborate with parents, administrators, and social workers to develop and review IEPs that support students' academic, physical, and social/emotional development.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive student records.
• Develop and implement annual IEP programs to support the development of students with disabilities.
• Supervise educational assistants as directed to enhance classroom support.
