A contract position is available for an Educational Diagnostician, located in Silver City, NM. This role is essential in providing comprehensive evaluations and support for students requiring special education services, ensuring that their educational needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico Educational Diagnostician certification
• Experience conducting evaluations and re-evaluations for special education
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and state/federal educational regulations

• Proficient in reviewing and interpreting assessment data

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Review IEPs and evaluation data to assess student needs
• Complete REED documents and support teams during REED meetings
• Conduct initial evaluations for students not yet receiving services
• Perform re-evaluations for existing special education students
• Analyze assessment and classroom data to determine testing needs
• Collaborate closely with IEP teams to ensure compliance with evaluations and deadlines
