Qualifications:

  • Valid California Licensure as a Counselor
  • PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential required
  • Relevant degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle school-aged students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Location: Riverside, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral issues
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support student needs
  • Develop and implement counseling programs tailored to the transitional needs of students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust counseling strategies accordingly
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies
