Responsibilities:

  • Support students with mild to moderate mental health issues.
  • Administer behavioral health screening tools and assessments.
  • Conduct brief assessments to determine urgency and type of response needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support interventions.
  • Gather and integrate information about student behaviors and necessary supports.
  • Offer individual and small-group counseling services, making appropriate referrals as needed.
  • Facilitate consent for treatment, develop treatment plans, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate on building initiatives, including Universal Screening for all students.
