Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential support as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a school setting. This role focuses on enhancing the educational and developmental outcomes for K-12th grade students during their occupational therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts COTA License
  • Experience working with students in a school environment, particularly K-12
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of therapy practices and goals specific to educational settings
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere

Location:

  • Lynn, MA (Two school sites)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists to ensure continuity of care
  • Conduct assessments and documentation as required by school policies
  • Support students in achieving their therapy goals through direct intervention
  • Collaborate with educators and other support staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
