Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support K-12 students across two school sites in Cambridge, MA. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional therapeutic services during a contract leave, catering to the diverse needs of students from the 2024-2025 to the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts COTA License
  • Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy practices

Location:

  • Cambridge, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of students’ therapeutic needs
  • Implement treatment plans and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
  • Maintain compliance with all state and school regulations regarding therapy services
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
