Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support K-12 students across two school sites in Cambridge, MA. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional therapeutic services during a contract leave, catering to the diverse needs of students from the 2024-2025 to the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts COTA License
Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience working in school settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other healthcare professionals
Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy practices

Location:

Cambridge, MA

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in individual education plans (IEPs)
Assist in the assessment and evaluation of students’ therapeutic needs
Implement treatment plans and document student progress
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
Maintain compliance with all state and school regulations regarding therapy services
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
