Job Description

An opportunity exists for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to contribute to the well-being and development of students in an engaging K-12 educational environment located in Allentown, PA. This position is designed for a professional eager to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through therapeutic practices.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license
  • Previous experience in healthcare and/or school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to students

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by licensed occupational therapists
  • Assist students in developing essential life skills through therapeutic activities
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized goals
