Job Description

Engage in a rewarding opportunity that involves providing vital support to a young student with unique needs. This position is focused on creating a safe and nurturing educational environment through one-on-one assistance, tailored to a preschool student aged 3.

Qualifications:

Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Location:
Providence, RI

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized care and support to the student, focusing on their specific needs, including assistance with a feeding tube
Monitor the student during bus rides and throughout classroom activities to ensure safety and comfort
Collaborate with educators and other staff to create an effective support plan
Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes the student’s development
Document and communicate any changes in the student’s condition or needs to appropriate staff
