An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to support a middle school student in Exeter, NH, for the remainder of the school year and potentially into the summer. This role is focused on providing meaningful and informed guidance to facilitate the student's transition and learning.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience working in school settings
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches
• Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs
• Familiarity with communication devices and supporting varying behavioral challenges
• Collaborative mindset to work alongside BCBAs and other support staff

Location:
Exeter, NH

Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral support and guidance to the student, primarily focused on passive behaviors
• Implement individualized strategies to encourage movement and engagement in school activities
• Collaborate with educational staff and supervised by BCBAs to ensure a comprehensive support plan
• Maintain documentation of progress and strategies used in facilitating the student's development
• Work towards building a trusting and supportive relationship with the student, understanding his unique challenges and strengths
