Job Description

Engage in a rewarding role supporting early childhood students with diverse behavioral needs in a dynamic educational environment. This position is based in Cambridge, MA, where you will work closely with one-on-one students, implementing strategies that promote positive behavior and learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or relevant experience as a paraprofessional
  • Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and support techniques
  • Experience working with students, particularly those with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with behavioral challenges
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed by supervising educators or behavior specialists
  • Monitor and document student progress and behavioral data
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Assist with the development of social skills and appropriate behaviors in students
