Job Description

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought for a full-time position providing behavioral support and guidance in a K-12 school setting, located in Boston, MA. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service during a 6-month parental leave coverage, working closely with students to enhance their educational experiences through applied behavior analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
  • Implement and oversee the delivery of effective behavioral education programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for student needs.
  • Monitor student progress and modify BIPs as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Current MA BCBA certification.
  • Experience working with children in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
