Qualifications:

  • Valid WA State Department of Health Audiology License
  • WA State SLP/Audiology ESA certification
  • Previous experience in school-based audiology preferred
  • Strong evaluation, documentation, and IEP development skills
  • Excellent communication and case management abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Location: Tacoma, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive audiology services to students, ensuring effective communication support
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students audiological needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual students
  • Manage cases and maintain documentation in compliance with state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and collaborate on care strategies
  • Oversee and manage audiology equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality
  • Travel between school sites as required, with paid travel time applicable
