We are actively seeking a passionate Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher on behalf of a district in Boston, MA!

This exciting opportunity is perfect for educators dedicated to delivering specialized physical education instruction for students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, focusing on physical education goals.

• Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational therapists, and other school staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment.

• Adapt and modify physical education activities to ensure students of all abilities can participate and succeed.

• Promote physical fitness, motor skills development, and social-emotional growth through engaging physical activities and sports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Adapted Physical Education, Physical Education, or a related field.

• Massachusetts state certification in Adapted Physical Education, or eligibility to obtain certification.

• Experience in working with students with disabilities in a physical education setting is preferred.
