Sunbelt is accepting candidates in partnership with a wonderful school district in the Gardner, MA area for a quick start date. Sunbelt aims to hire a full-time, experienced, licensed, Speech Language Pathologist contractor for districts all over the United States. We make lives better for those who make lives better, so help us, help you! Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in communication disorders from an accredited program
  • Current Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist Licensure (open to active MA SLPA licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
