Job Title: School Nurse (RN/LPN)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a School Nurse to join our team. The School Nurse will be responsible for providing health services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for helping children.

Responsibilities:

Assessing students' health needs and providing appropriate care
Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records for each student
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for students
Providing health education to students, families, and staff
Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid as needed
Conducting vision, hearing, and other health screenings as required
Participating in school health and safety committees

Qualifications:

Current RN/LPN license in MN
Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide quality care to students based on their needs
