Job Title Registered Behavior Technician

Location: Barberton, WA

Position Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team in Barberton, WA. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with behavioral and developmental needs. You will work closely with a team of educators and specialists to implement behavior intervention plans and provide individualized support to help students succeed both academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges.
Conduct one-on-one and small group sessions with students to address target behaviors.
Collect and analyze data on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other professionals to support the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills.
Provide positive reinforcement to encourage desirable behaviors and assist in reducing challenging behaviors.
Support students in achieving their academic and social-emotional goals.
Participate in team meetings to review progress and modify strategies as necessary.
Maintain professional and confidential records in accordance with school and legal standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or the ability to obtain certification is required.
Experience working with students with behavioral and developmental challenges is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students' growth and success.
Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors in a constructive and supportive manner.
