Respiratory Therapist
Peoria, Illinois

We are currently seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract position in Peoria, Illinois. This is a 12-hour night shift role, providing care in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.

Requirements:

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Illinois
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities include:

Assessing, planning, and delivering respiratory care for patients
Administering oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation
Collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
