Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a state-of-the-art healthcare setting. Milwaukee, located on Lake Michigan’s western shore, is known for its lively city atmosphere, with vibrant art scenes, world-class dining, and beautiful waterfront parks.

Responsibilities:

Perform respiratory therapy assessments and treatments for a variety of patients, including those in critical care and emergency units.
Administer aerosol treatments, manage ventilators, and monitor respiratory status.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and use of equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent RRT experience in an acute care setting; ICU experience preferred.
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
Licensure: Active RRT license (Wisconsin)
