Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a state-of-the-art healthcare setting. Milwaukee, located on Lake Michigan’s western shore, is known for its lively city atmosphere, with vibrant art scenes, world-class dining, and beautiful waterfront parks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform respiratory therapy assessments and treatments for a variety of patients, including those in critical care and emergency units.
  • Administer aerosol treatments, manage ventilators, and monitor respiratory status.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and use of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent RRT experience in an acute care setting; ICU experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
  • Licensure: Active RRT license (Wisconsin)
