Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Madison, WI. As one of the most vibrant cities in the Midwest, Madison offers both a rich cultural scene and plenty of outdoor activities.

Position Overview:

• Location: Madison, WI
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Full-time, Nights (19:00-7:30)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and maintain various respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen devices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Provide patient education on proper breathing techniques and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.

Requirements:

• Certifications: Active RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and current BLS, ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
