Job Summary:
VocoVision is searching for a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to K-12 students across South Dakota. This independent contractor role allows you to work remotely, delivering top-tier therapy through VocoVision’s advanced teletherapy platform. This is an amazing opportunity to support students while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform virtual evaluations to assess students’ speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement customized therapy plans in accordance with Washington State IEP standards.
  • Conduct interactive and effective therapy sessions through the teletherapy platform.
  • Connect with teachers, parents, and school personnel to address students' communication needs.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals and strategies as necessary.
  • Attend virtual IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help shape students' educational plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Current South Dakota SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with technology and online communication platforms.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
