Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Nurse position in Altoona, PA. This travel role requires flexibility to float across all Med/Surg and Stepdown units within the hospital. The schedule includes rotating shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care in a dynamic and varied setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage patients' telemetry data to ensure optimal care.
Float across all Med/Surg and Stepdown units as needed.
Assess and respond to patient conditions based on telemetry readings.
Collaborate with medical teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Adapt to a rotating schedule, including working every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Pennsylvania required.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Telemetry, Med/Surg and/or Stepdown units.
Experience with telemetry monitoring and care.
Ability to float across various units and manage diverse patient needs.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
