Job Description

Full Time Reading Specialist Position - near Cheesetown, PA
Sunbelt is hiring a Reading Specialist at a school in the Cheesetown area. This position is onsite, and full-time M-F. Caseload and student disabilities vary.

Job Type:

Full-Time (32.5 - 37.5 hours)
M-F
Caseload varies dependent upon school location

Job Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose reading difficulties and challenges in students.
Develop and implement individualized reading intervention plans.
Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students at varying levels.
Monitor and track student progress through assessments and data analysis.
Collaborate with teachers to integrate reading strategies into the general curriculum.
Support the development of literacy skills, including comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary.
Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress and strategies for support.

Job Requirements:

Master's degree, preferred
PA Reading Specialist PK - 12 certification, required
PA Instructional Certification in Elementary Education PreK-4 or K-6, preferred
3 years teaching experience, preferred
Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
