Radiologic Technologist - Council Bluffs, IA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist with a specialization in Computed Tomography (CT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Council Bluffs, IA. This position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans and radiographic imaging as required by patient needs.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate imaging.
Maintain patient records, document procedures, and ensure that images are properly stored.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
Follow established safety and health guidelines, including radiation safety protocols.
Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Provide education and support to patients regarding the imaging process.

Required Qualifications:

ARRT (CT) certification
ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to obtain additional certifications or licenses as required

Shift:

Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
12-hour shifts

Assignment Length:

13 weeks
