Job Description

Job Title: Travel Radiation Therapist

Location: Watertown, New York

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Watertown, NY.

Watertown, located near the breathtaking Thousand Islands region and Lake Ontario, offers outdoor adventures, historic charm, and a welcoming community. It's an excellent location for travelers looking to explore a mix of nature and city life while advancing their careers.

Responsibilities:

Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by an oncologist.
Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
Monitor patients during treatment and report any side effects or concerns.
Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

ARRT(T) certification required.
Active New York State Radiation Therapy license.
Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
BLS certification (AHA required).
Experience with Varian or Elekta equipment preferred.
