Travel Pediatric ER RN Opportunity – Syracuse, NY

Position: Travel Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Setting: Pediatric Emergency Room

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Pediatric ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric emergency care, with adult emergency department experience as a plus. Syracuse, a city known for its vibrant community, historic charm, and proximity to scenic destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients efficiently.
Use EPIC Electronic Medical Records to document patient care accurately.
Handle trauma cases in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma environment.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in the state of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an Peds ER RN.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
