Position Details:

  • Job Title: Pediatric ICU Nurse (Travel)

  • Shift: 3x12 hour shifts (Days or Nights available)
  • Contract: 13 weeks with potential for extension
  • Start Date: Immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and assess patients' condition, adjusting treatment as necessary.
  • Provide emotional support to patients' families and ensure open communication.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU experience.
  • Licensure: Active RN license in Illinois or Compact State RN License.
  • Certifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
  • Skills: Expertise in critical care, ventilator management, and pediatric emergencies.
