Job Description

Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated and skilled Paraprofessional fluent in American Sign Language to support students who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

The ideal candidate will assist in creating an inclusive, accessible learning environment by providing ASL interpretation and support to students in the classroom, helping them fully participate in their education.

Job Details:

Provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and communication support for Deaf or hard of hearing students during classroom activities, lessons, and school events.
Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, tasks, and lessons in collaboration with the teacher.
Support individual students or small groups with academic, social, and emotional needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment by ensuring students have access to all classroom interactions and communication.
