Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT/OTA)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or cognitive challenges.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities in activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely records per regulatory and organizational guidelines.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and adaptive equipment for improved daily function.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and adhere to ethical practice standards.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Occupational Therapist: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA): Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
  • Licensure:
  • Valid Illinois OT/OTA license
  • Experience:
  • Experience in various School settings is a plus.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
