Location: White Plains, NY

Type: Travel Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 37.5 hours per week, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a skilled Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in White Plains, NY. This position requires flexibility, as you will be floating between the main hospital and a nearby surgery center. Candidates must be willing to work in both locations and adhere to the 50-mile radius rule—local candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room across multiple locations.
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure a sterile environment and patient safety.
Prepare patients for surgery, assist during procedures, and provide post-operative care.
Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic medical records (EMR).
Adhere to all safety and quality assurance protocols in compliance with the Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Active RN license in New York.
Minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
BLS certification required.
COVID-19 vaccination required.
Ability to float between the main hospital and nearby surgery center.
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
