Job Title: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Burlington, VT

Duration: 20 Weeks

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Burlington, VT. As a Travel OR RN, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during surgical procedures.
• Oversee department admissions to the operative suite.
• Maintain aseptic technique to guarantee patient safety.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient vital signs, manage anesthesia, and assist with surgical site preparation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all surgical activities and patient records.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, and oral-maxillofacial surgeries.
• Utilize your skills in DaVinci robotic surgery for two specialties.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an OR RN.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work 10-hour rotating shifts.
