Home Health RN Contract Opportunity – Elkton, MD
Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for a Home Health contract position near Elkton, MD. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Home Health RN who is looking for a rewarding role in patient care. Candidates with at least one year of recent home health experience are encouraged to apply.
This full-time position offers a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension. The schedule consists of 40-hour work weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some on-call and weekend shifts as needed. The RN in this role will be responsible for managing a caseload of 25 to 30 patients per week, traveling within the Cecil County area to provide direct patient care. Duties will include performing wound care, administering IV treatments, educating patients on their care plans, and following up on cardiac programs and interventions.
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of recent home health experience, along with in-depth knowledge of HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS. Previous experience managing a similar caseload and completing Start of Care/Admissions is required. A nursing degree at either the associate or bachelor’s level is necessary, along with an active Maryland RN license and a current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
