CVOR RN - Travel Contract

Location:Montgomery, AL
Start Date:ASAP
Shift:4x10-hour days (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
Contract Length:13 weeks (extensions likely)

Why This Role?

High-Acuity CVOR:Scrub/Circulate for complex cases including Open Heart, CABG, TAVR, ECMO, Robotics (DaVinci XI/Mazor), and Trauma.
Specialized Team:15 ORs (2 dedicated CVOR) with ORA support, desk assistants, and service line leaders.
Top-Tech Facility:Cerner EMR, Omnicell, Spacelabs monitors, and Plum 360 IV pumps.

Requirements

Certifications:

Active AL or compact RN license
BLS + ACLS(AHA preferred)

Experience:

2+ years CVOR experience(No first-time travelers with <2 years)
Must Have:Open Heart, CABG, TAVR, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma (no burns).
Preferred:DaVinci XI/Mazor robotic experience.

Patient Types/Cases:

Adult Focus (minimal peds): Sternotomy, Thoracoscopy, VATS, MVR/AVR, ECMO, Ortho Spine/TJRs, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, ENT.

Facility Perks

1:1 patient ratio(no floating).
Level II Trauma+ Stroke Center diverse surgical caseload.
Supportive Staff:Charge nurses, team leaders, and dedicated ORAs.
