About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Travel Surgical Technologist to join our team at a facility located in Sugar Land, TX. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to utilize their skills in a variety of surgical specialties. You will work alongside a talented team to ensure the smooth operation of the surgical environment, providing direct patient care and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain the sterile field within the operating room
• Prepare and ensure the proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards
• Foster a positive and patient-centered environment within the OR

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Prior experience in General Surgery, GYN, Orthopedics, Robotics, and Vascular surgery is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety
