Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Travel Certified Scrub Tech (CST) for a 16-26 week assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Burlington, Vermont, located on the shores of Lake Champlain, offers scenic views, outdoor activities, and a rich arts and culture scene. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room and ensuring the sterile field is maintained.
• Provide direct support during surgeries, including passing instruments, handling sterile supplies, and anticipating the surgeon’s needs.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot any issues as needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
• Perform cleaning and restocking duties in the operating room following surgeries.
• Float between different surgical specialties as required.

Requirements:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required, CNOR preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience
• Recent Level 1 trauma experience within the last year
• Solid knowledge of various surgical specialties, including but not limited to orthopedic, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro
• Ability to float to different units as required
• Flexibility to work weekends and take call
