Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Long-Term Care (LTC) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Watertown, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated LPN to provide compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing facility while exploring the scenic Thousand Islands region.

Watertown, located near the Canadian border and the St. Lawrence River, is known for its outdoor recreation, historic charm, and vibrant community.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents, focusing on daily living assistance, monitoring, and basic medical care
  • Assist with the treatment and support of residents diagnosed with dementia and other common conditions in long-term care settings
  • Accurately document patient progress, medication administration, and care activities
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
  • Adapt to different units within the facility as part of a floating assignment

Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in the state of New York
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1-2 year's of recent long-term care experience required
  • Experience with dementia care strongly preferred
