Job Description

Job Title: Travel LPN 

Location: Utica, New York

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, NY. 

Utica is a vibrant city in central New York, known for its rich history, scenic beauty, and welcoming community. With access to excellent dining, cultural attractions, and outdoor activities, Utica offers a great balance of work and leisure for traveling healthcare professionals.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents, focusing on daily living assistance, monitoring, and basic medical care
  • Assist with the treatment and support of residents diagnosed with dementia and other common conditions in long-term care settings
  • Accurately document patient progress, medication administration, and care activities
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
  • Adapt to different units within the facility as part of a floating assignment

Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in the state of New York
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent long-term care experience required
  • Experience with dementia care strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to float to different units within the facility
