Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Utica, NY. This role involves performing routine diagnostic procedures in nuclear medicine and may include training and leading other staff members. The position offers flexible shift options with either a 5-day, 8-hour schedule or a 4-day, 10-hour schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures under general supervision.
  • May be responsible for training and leading the work of other employees.
  • Ensure accurate imaging and patient safety throughout all procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality diagnostic services.
  • Maintain and operate nuclear medicine equipment according to safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license/registration in New York State required.
  • ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine required.
  • Valid CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
