Now Hiring: Virtual Special Education Coordinator for New Hampshire Schools

Position Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a Virtual Special Education Coordinator to manage the development and implementation of special education programs for students in a virtual setting. This role involves collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to create IEPs, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and provide professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and update IEPs for virtual students.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and other laws.
  • Facilitate communication between school staff, parents, and service providers.
  • Track progress on IEP goals and prepare reports.
  • Provide training and support to virtual educators.
  • Advocate for students with disabilities to ensure access to necessary support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred).
  • New Hampshire Special Education certification.
  • 3+ years of special education experience in New Hampshire (virtual experience a plus).
  • Familiar with IDEA, 504 Plans, and virtual education tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IEP software.
  • Leadership or coordination experience.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices.
