Now Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for Groton, MA
 

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. You will support a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in assessing, treating, and managing communication disorders for patients of all ages.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the SLP with speech and language screenings.
  • Follow treatment plans designed by the SLP.
  • Provide direct therapy to individuals and groups.
  • Track and document patient progress.
  • Educate patients and families on communication exercises and strategies.
  • Prepare materials and set up equipment for therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
  • State licensure or certification as an SLPA.
  • Preferred experience with children and/or adults with communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
