Now Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for Groton, MA

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. You will support a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in assessing, treating, and managing communication disorders for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

Assist the SLP with speech and language screenings.
Follow treatment plans designed by the SLP.
Provide direct therapy to individuals and groups.
Track and document patient progress.
Educate patients and families on communication exercises and strategies.
Prepare materials and set up equipment for therapy sessions.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
State licensure or certification as an SLPA.
Preferred experience with children and/or adults with communication disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
