Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, supporting their academic and functional performance within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student plans.
• Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support students' needs.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all school, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and pediatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
