Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated MS/Tele Charge RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Akron, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit while enhancing your professional skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MS/Tele RN experience required
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Licensure/Certification:
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)
Skills:
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a team of nurses and support staff
- Ability to prioritize patient care and delegate tasks effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in handling a diverse patient population with various acute and chronic conditions

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate nursing care in the MS/Tele unit, ensuring high-quality patient care
Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions
Serve as a resource for the nursing team, providing guidance and support as needed
Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure continuity of care
Manage patient assignments and staffing to maintain unit efficiency
Adhere to safety protocols, infection control practices, and hospital policies
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
